Warehouse 2nd Crew Shift 2/2/3  6:00pm-6:30am 

Pay: 22.77 Hourly with a $1.50 shift differential 

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Works under supervision of Logistics Team Leader with the guidance of other members of operations, maintenance, and plant management

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

 

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education preferred

Minimum 1 year related and verifiable work experience may be substituted for education


EXPERIENCE:    •    On the Job Training.


SKILLS:    

Reading, Math (addition, subtraction, division, fractions, and percentages), computer, and Leadership skills. Basic mechanical aptitude (i.e., correct use of wrenches, drivers, pliers, and lubrication techniques).


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

 

•    Timely communication of all operational and/or safety issues to Team Leader to avoid accidents and unnecessary downtime. Any issues that may adversely affect start-up, cause downtime, or could result in an accident are the responsibility of Warehouse Associates to communicate to the Logistics or Production Team Leaders immediately.

•    Must have computer knowledge on E-Mail, GLOBE, etc.   

•    Drop and stage raw goods from warehouse racks as needed for production.

•    Deliver goods to production areas that have been called for in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.

•    Check for deviations before beginning deliveries. Read communication notes and staging reports.

•    Return unused raw goods to correct locations in a timely manner.

•    Perform basic mechanical adjustments and perform required mechanical PMs.

•    Keep work areas up to housekeeping and GMP standards.

•    Operate walkies or forklifts in safe and efficient manner where waste is minimized and where operator and pedestrian risk is eliminated.

•    Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.

•    Complete all specified paperwork in a timely, accurate manner and delivers paperwork to designated locations at shifts end.

•    Timely completion of work orders to ensure that repairs are made as soon as possible.

•    Adherence to plant attendance policies.

•    Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow team members and other    departments.

•    Team members shall understand and follow factory management systems for human safety, food safety and/or environmental management. Understand and actively work toward achieving management system targets and objectives.

•    Team members shall follow the plant rules, procedures, and/or practices related to management systems.

•    Team members will report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the appropriate management system on all related procedures and programs.

•    Other duties as assigned
