At Nestlé Nordic, we are looking for a Business Solution Integration & Messaging Specialist for our IT department. The position is based at our Nordic head office in Ørestad, Copenhagen, and reports to our IT Portfolio & Business Solution Manager, Michael Jarl.

 

In this role, you will be the fifth member of a specialized IT team. The team is part of our highly competent and multicultural IT function of 21 motivated colleagues with 11 different nationalities. In the IT team, our overall purpose is to support Nestlé Nordic’s business areas and corporate functions.

Your future challenges

Your overall responsibility will be to deliver functional business solutions to the Nordic business in close collaboration with local business and global IT teams. EDI/messaging is a key part of the role, and your participation is required in almost all functional implementations. As such, you will:

 

  • Become the number one expert within EDI, showcasing your broad knowledge of functional business procedures with particular in-depth understanding and operational experience
  • Work closely with the others in the team to understand the integration between SAP modules
  • Provide operationally acceptable solutions to the businesses
  • Function as ’bridge-builder’ between local business and global partners.

 

You will be the lead communicator of all aspects within EDI, and as such, for you to be successful in the role, you need to have an open mind and learn about new modules presented to the local business from the global team. 

There is limited travel associated with this role. Occational travel may occur for trainings/on-site support during go-lives and business collaboration.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a candidate who is eager to take on the role as our new EDI Specialist and who is motivated to become part of the Nordic IT team at Nestlé. The right candidate works effeciently, with a high level of quality and attention to details. You should have a collaborative mindset and engage proactively with key stakeholders both globally and on a local level. We expect you to be structured, process oriented, focused on deliverables and results.

Your experiences and qualifications:

You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline or you have 2+ years’ experience in equivalent EDI/SAP disciplines or equivalent.

Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate with:
 

  • Experience from an IT operation environment, preferably from the FMCG industry
  • Ability to work successfully in a complex (matrix) operational environment
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within EDI/Messaging (formats XML, EDIFACT, IDOC etc. and connections: AS2, SFTP, SOAP etc.).

 

Knowledge of the following programs will be seen as a strong advantage, but not a requirement:
 

  • Azure: DevOps (git, CI/CD), virtual machines, data factory, data lakes, automation (Powershell, Python)
  • Analytics: MSSQL, MDX, PowerBI, SAPBW/AFO
  • SAP: Sales and distribution, materials handling, finance, etc.
  • Programming skills: C++, C#
  • Order to cash processes: Order fulfillment, warehouse operations, invoicing, etc.

 

We expect you to be fluent in English and, preferably, in one of the Scandinavian languages.
