At Nestlé Purina PetCare, we are looking for an eCommerce Channel Manager to drive category development in the very rapidly growing Nordic eCommerce channel. We market and sell food for cats and dogs through retail, eCommerce and specialist channels. The Nordic Purina team is today around 60 people.  

 

As Nordic eCommerce Channel Manager, you will be part of the Nordic Market Development team, and you will report to the Nordic MDO Manager. The position is based at our Nordic Head Office in Ørestad, Copenhagen.

Your responsibilities

As eCommerce Channel Manager, you drive category development in the very rapidly growing Nordic eCommerce channel, making sure we create value for the shoppers, the e-retailers and Purina. 

 

You will primarily be responsible for:
•    Developing the strategy and driving execution for the eCommerce channel roadmap and leading the integrated commercial planning for the channel 
•    Enabling the implementation of our channel strategy together with KAMs in the local markets and key customer(s) by supporting customer and relationship planning
•    Overseeing the visibility of our brands and shopper engagement for our eCommerce customers and are in charge of creating annual activation plan and budget
•    Analyzing sales data and make campaign evaluations and provide improvement suggestions
•    Be primary point of contact for Sales and Marketing teams for eCommerce channels related topics, e.g. ownership of portfolio strategy, shopper activation mechanics, best practices and guidelines. 

 

Your internal stakeholders are the Nordic Purina Commercial team, especially the eCommerce Key Account Managers in both grocery and specialist channel, the Purina EMENA eCommerce network, Brand Managers and Shopper Marketing Managers as well as teams from other Nestlé categories. 

 

Your main external stakeholders are our customers, who you will be working closely with, in supporting them in developing the category.


For this position, there will be limited travelling post COVID-19.

Your talent and drive

You are excellent in stakeholder management and ensure strong cross functional collaboration and alignment with various stakeholders; from commercial and marketing teams to a wider scale of colleagues in Nestlé, both locally and regionally.

 

Moreover, to succeed in this role, you:
•    have a proactive approach and an entrepreneurial mindset
•    are structured, able to make a plan and follow it through
•    have good analytical skills and enjoy crunching sales numbers
•    have a cooperative attitude with proven ability to build relationships and strong influencing skills both internally and externally

Your experiences and qualifications

You have min. 2 years of experience from a marketing and/or sales role, preferably from FMCG, and experience and understanding of the pet food category is an advantage. 

 

You have experience within eCommerce and a good eCommerce shopper and customer understanding. You also have a deep digital knowledge, particularly from online sales and customer management, as well as understanding of digital consumer marketing, e.g. R&R, CRM and SoMe.

 

You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and one of the Nordic languages, preferably Swedish. Knowledge of basic CRM systems, e.g. Hybris, and photo editing will be seen as advantages.
