We are currently looking for a Confectionery Area Production Manager to join our Operations team.

Location: Karacabey, Bursa

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Confectionery Area Production Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • University degree (Food Engineering or related fields)
  • Min 7 year experience in a functional role in food industry
  • Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people and teams at shopfloor level  
  • Successful in leading change (NCE(Nestlé Continuous Excellence) Implementation)
  • Exposure to the implementation of continuous improvement techniques
  • Experience in leading projects involving different departments or functions

Which profile are we looking for?

  • Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured and delivered according to demand plan to reach targetted Customer Order Fullfillment (COF) and MSA(Master Schedule Attainment) values.
  • Provide appropriate flexibility of workforce and assets in line with Business plans via optimizing production cycles and labour plans. Focus on raw, pack material availability, finished product quality and on time delivery.
  • Monitor closely Conversion costs, variance reports, sundry and small budget in thier respective area, act immediately in any deviations conducting loss analysis and define value creation project roadmap in line with category cost targets.
  • Drive Manufacturing Excellence at his/her production area using TPM(Total Performance Management) & LEAN concepts where available to maximize efficiecies and minimize losses. Lead a continuous improvement culture empowering and enabling shopfloor employees to drive autonomy.
  • Liaise with Category Teams for the design & launch of new equipment and processes with optimal parameters and ensure Vertical Start-Up and delivering sustainable operations.
  • Ensure timely launch of new or renovated products to the Market as per agreement with the business unit. Present timely feedback and guidance to relevant stakeholhers (marketing, application group) with process and product expertise.
  • Lead the safety culture and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the Nestle guidlines and local laws striving for zero accidents. Coach and develop shopfloor safety behaviours using Caring Leadership in Safety program.
  • Ensure that manufacturing operations are conducted according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance). Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP).
  • Provide timely feedback and coaching to individuals and team in order to develop them to their full potential hence achive objectives in accordance with Nestle Continuous Excellence guidelines. Ensure developmet and coaching of team leaders and key operators. Achieve and sustain effective communication and motivation of shofloor.
