We are currently looking for a Contract Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations team.

Location: Karacabey, Bursa

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Contract Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities;

• Management & Leadership:

- Ensure flawless execution of Coman & Copack Projects, Quality requirements and adaptation of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for all products

-Manage & Support communication between business & technical functions to define scope of projects, optimal manufacturing strategies and ensure alignment objectives with key stakeholders, agreement on scope, product definition & timing,  budget requirements. Ensure timely reporting of critical issues & scope changes.

-Ensure goods are produced according to Nestlé quality standards at required quantity, desired time and at a competitive manufacturing cost.     

-Provide Ops input in discussions with business and ensure consideration of critical points in project setup

-Capture all key aspects regarding projects and make sure they are given right focus by all stakeholders

-Identify potential risks and related impact on projects, prepare mitigation action & escalate when appropriate

-Identify technology gaps / new trends and propose implementation strategies

• Technical &  Performance Support:

-Good knowledge of relevant manufacturing technologies and project Mgmt. in I&R  (Innovation & Renovation)

-Track execution and implementation of market/regional projects

-Assist I&R manager in the development of industrial strategies (footprint and technologies)

-Provide product specific assistance to markets, dedicated and shared factories, co-manufacturers

-Ensure that continuous optimization program is part of project definition (cost, quality, services)

• Knowledge Management and People Development:

-Ensure / support staffing of I&R projects (right resources at the right place)

-Build and maintain expertise: Business & product knowledge, factory & co-man network, relevant processing technologies, I&R Project Mgmt., regulatory framework related to product development and production

Which profile are we looking for?

• University Degree (Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering)
• 1-2 years experience in food manufacturing
• Excellent command of English
