We are currently looking for a Fixed Asset Specialist to join our Operations team.
Location: Karacabey,Bursa
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Fixed Asset Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities;
Asset Register & Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain an up-to-date asset register, ensuring all addition (new records), and preperation forms for deletion and transfer for assets are accurate and compliant with financial policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare asset addition and deletion certificates, ensuring proper documentation for financial records.
Inventory Valuation & Management:
- Completion of the inventory of machinery and spare parts, particularly in the idle machine yard, preparation for the financial records reflect accurate inventory levels and valuations.
Useful Life Analysis:
- Conduct useful life analysis for assets to assess their depreciation schedules and determine the remaining useful life.
- Ensure that asset depreciation is accurately recorded and that the financial impact is reflected in the budget and long-term financial planning.
- Provide recommendations for asset replacement or disposal based on useful life analysis to optimize financial efficiency.
Project Team Engagement & Asset Tracking:
- Actively engage with project teams to track assets, their activation dates, and the implementation status on-site.
- Ensure that project teams provide timely updates on asset usage and verify on-site implementation.
- Collaborate with project leaders to ensure assets are activated on time and tracked according to the asset register.
- Maintain constant communication with the project team to address discrepancies and keep financial records accurate and up-to-date.
Asset Tagging, Inventory Control & Counting:
- Ensure assets are tagged in compliance with company policies, and tracking and counting processes are followed meticulously.
- Conduct an annual asset count at the end of each fiscal year, ensuring all assets are physically counted, tagged, and verified.
- Ensure that the annual asset count results are shared with finance, and signatures from both the Custodian and Finance Managers are obtained.
- Address any discrepancies during the asset count and work closely with the finance team to resolve them.
Asset Acquisition and Creation:
- Lead the Asset Under Construction (AUC) process, ensuring proper tracking and documentation of ongoing asset projects.
- Create Asset Master Data for new assets, ensuring the accuracy of all related data.
- Ensure the proper classification of assets to align with financial reporting standards.
- Oversee the activation of assets and ensure the correct depreciation schedules are applied based on asset type and useful life.
Reporting and Monitoring of Ongoing Asset Projects:
- Prepare and utilize reports to track ongoing asset projects and ensure they are progressing according to plan.
- Monitor the completion of ongoing projects and ensure that all assets are activated and documented once finalized.
Asset Sales and Disposal:
- Support factory finance team for the asset disposal process, including the appropriate recognition of any gains or losses.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Excellent command of English
