We are currently looking for a/an Production Engineer to join our Nestle Health Science team.

Location: Karacabey, Bursa

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Production Engineer , you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Ensure that all activities in the department are in line with GMP, food safety and work place safety requirements; ensure that all procedures, instructions, QMS, NQS’s, all legal requirements etc. are implemented, developed and updated by regular checks
  • Ensure correct interpretation and application of all legal requirements across operations
  • Perform corrective/ preventive activities to solve quality problems in line with the guidelines
  • Ensure that all HACCP plans are implemented and regularly updated and trainings have been provided to all employees
  • Monitor and improve line perfoermence , and major KPI’s
  • Support industrial test runs together with  project  and Application Group Teams
  • To participate and follow the new installations on the shop floor
  • Monitor closely  variance reports in thier respective area, act immediately in any deviations conducting loss analysis and define value creation project roadmap in line with category cost targets
  • Continuous development of production staff via in-class and on the job training
  • He/She is responsible from reporting the problems related with Food Safety Management System to the person to whom she/he directly reported to. If He or She is in HACCP team, he/she is responsible from reporting the problems related with food safety to the food safety team leader and the manager of the department who is responsible from this problem
  • Lead the safety culture and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the Nestle guidlines and local laws striving for zero accidents. Coach and develop shopfloor safety behaviours using CLIS program
  • Ensure correct interpretation and application of all legal requirements across operations

Which profile are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience preferably in aseptic production industry
  • Demonstrated capability to lead a group of people
  • Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and implementation experience of TPM
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Successful in leading projects involving different departments or functions
