We are currently looking for a Senior Operations Start-Up Engineer to join our Beverages team.

Location: Karacabey, Bursa

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Senior Operations Start-Up Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Support the End to End Project Manager in developing the investment project charter and see to it that it is strictly followed throughout the project
  • Works with Research&Development in creating new product development or alternative raw and packaging material development project charters Ensure success criteria for projects are setted to deliver Manufacturing Excellence through projects so that bussiness objectives are reached at the right time and right cost
  • Design the operations based on; Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, the Nestlé standards, the local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications, the Total Performance Management  characteristics of a unit operation (safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability)
  • Ensure workers safety during both, the construction and the further operation of the plant, Support project to execute the basic design and then the detailed design
  • Support Research&Development for any investment needs in design with using process and product mastership. Include relevant team members from production and maintenance to ensure alignment in executions and deliver success criteria.
  • Support during project implementation (e.g. buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc.) in accordance with the defined timing, cost and quality, and the characteristics of a unit operation, all the elements of the project (including technical people training, as needed) in such a way that safety is always guaranteed on the whole project site and a vertical start-up is assured.
  • Support organising product or process trials. Monitor and verify that the Nestlé standards are applied. Delivers standart Routines & Standart Operation Procedures from the beginning of operation. Ensure colloboration with Education&Training Pillar and develop competency in Production and technicians previously to start up. Contribute operational reviews to deliver Manufacturing Excellence requirements.
  • Support the start-up manager and her/his team, to assure a smooth transition to operations, after the qualification and the verification of the installation have been finalized. Support in preparing and distributing the project documentation of engineering, including the engineering part of the project final report and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.
  • Support the implementation of Innovation&Renovation pipeline with the business unit inline with strategy to develop technical and manufacturing solutions for new product opportunities through liaison with project, business, production and Innovation&Renovation teams. Be the technical contact point between the factory and the business team Active participation on new ingreadinet / equipment supplier selection and development , keeping in view future requirements
