We are currently looking for a Packaging Development Specialist in Karacabey  Team who is responsible to manage execution of Packaging related projects and initiatives at market level  while taking into consideration compliance with Nestle and external standards based on R&D owned  technology or in close collaboration with R&D. Manage TDC projects to improve the packaging cost of the products .

Main Responsibilities;

• New Product Development & Renovation :  Lead Packaging projects , packaging & filling trials at Factory level with focus on line performance, cost efficiency on time delivery and product quality. Provide packaging input within the AGs proposing and evaluating best packaging alternatives for new products and improvements to existing products. Organise  and document factory trials including machinability, shelf-life, storage handling, laboratory and transport tests for validation of new packaging and changes in specifications.
• Contact with global packaging community (TCU 's, CTAG's ,R&D's and packaging network) for knowledge transfer & for tracking KPIs  and be single point of contact for the business in his/ her responsibility.
• Follow global Plastic Commitment Roadmap with global stakeholders (exp: CTAG Managers,PLastic commitment Champions) and take necessary actions for ontime implementation .
• Perform all Packaging Development Acitivities  for comanufacturers and make sure that  all Nestle standarts about packaging compliance and packaging commitments are in place .
• Lead waste elimination projects to contribute decrease of TDC and lead TDC improvement projects via presenting different packaging solutions.

Key Experiences;

• Graduate in Engineering, preferably in Packaging, Mechanics, Industrial, Chemistry or Automation or equivalent (Materials Science, Printing).                                                                      
• Operational Experience:Min 3 years of  Packaging development in FMCG Packaging development and packing operation in FMCG.
• Problem solving approach.
• Project management.
• Supplier & converter auditing.
• Fluency in English ( Upper intermediate)
• Competent in Packaging Safety, Quality and Compliance.
• Basic knowledge in production planning.
• Aware of customer and consumer understanding.
• Aware of relevant technology platforms, people management tools & practices in the Nestle context.
• Good understanding of new product development process. ( I2L)
• Good understanding of NCE methodologies in particular TPM & LEAN.
• Good understanding of Nestle quality ( HACCP ), engineering and manufacturing systems as well as supply chain and HR processes.
