Manufacturing Excellence Executive
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Executive to join our factory team who will be reach optimal operational performance and efficient utilisation of the manufacturing assets in the Factory, considering all aspects of Manufacturing Excellence. Responsible for the coordination of all NCE activities in the factory. Ensure compliance to corporate and factory standards to provide consistent measuring, monitoring and improvement of performance whilst safeguarding people, products and assets.
Main Responsibilities;
- Provide methods and tools for improvement of practices; provide tools for measuring and optimising factory performance; Provide assistance in terms of developing optimum organisational structures.
- Support optimization of factory complexity, line/machine layout and design; Conduct workload studies as & when required
- Ensure standards and performance measures in place. Support factory in their usage of Perf. Measures.
- Support tracking and reporting on savings and improvements
- Run benchmarking internal Nestle (inter market and Corporate) and external (when required)
- Monitor and coordinate execution and roll out plan of TPM & Lean Initiatives within the factory
- Coordinate efforts and oversee the deployment of TPM & Lean Initiatives within own Factory.
- Report to relevant stakeholders within own Factory about the progress and status of TPM and Lean Initiatives.
- Escalate issues to Plant Managers and Factory Manufacturing Excellence Manager
- Act as the single point of contact in the related plants for all TPM Initiatives
- Ensure Capacity Management in place, prepared in the factories and approved at market level
- Build / maintain IP knowledge including factory systems (CST, OSD, DMO Performance, Connect, NSAM,SAP...) / Participate in IP network
- Build / maintain NCE knowledge including factory systems (GA, TPM, Lean) / Participate in NCE network
- Ensure effective use of NSAM & Connect to drive performance improvement, CST updated / and factory approvals for Budget and use for simulations. Ensure proper usage of ALL Factory Systems (including GLOBE), in the most productive way. Ensure effective use of DMO performance module.
Qualifications required for this position are as follows;
- Min Years of Experience Required: 2 Years in Production / Proces improvement
- Min Education Qualification Required: University Degree Holder (Industrial, Mechanical or Food Engineer)
- Practical experience with TPM/Lean implementation
- Experience in training and coaching on management practices (OMP,Performance Measures, Operational Reviews, Standard Routines)
