Position Summary 

 

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Specialist who will be dedicated to the Nestrade Procurement Division and NESA BGS (Business Growth Solutions). In this role, you will report to the Head of Risk & Compliance and provide direct support to the Internal Controller to ensure robust internal controls across the organization.  

 

A Day in the Life of an Internal Control Specialist

 

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Provide insight on internal control efficiency, perform internal control reviews and investigations.
  • Execute monthly/quarterly key risk indicators and controls to review with Internal Controller.
  • Lead improvement activities on SoD (segregation of duties) and HSR (Highly Sensitive Roles). Review with business and functions on SoD issues and monitor these cases to achieve targets.
  • Review compensating controls for SoD reports provided by service centers, and ensure they are approved by the line managers.
  • Act as the systems role link for Nestrade and NESA BGS, validating the roles allocated to all employees and perform the periodical review of role variants assignment (cross-market assignment).

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Degree in finance or accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance.  
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel in particular); and SAP.
  • Experience in Audit, and an ability to identify issues, their root causes and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across a complex organization.
  • Fluency in the English.
