Position Summary:
Following internal people moves, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Regional Procurement Manager to join our Packaging Category team based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for commercial and sourcing activities for Flexibles & Paper.
Reporting to the Zone Category Lead – Flexibles & Paper, your primary responsibility will be to define and implement the category strategy on a regional level - utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools, and policies.

A Day in the Life of a Regional Procurement Manager for Flexibles & Paper:
- Create and implement sourcing strategies for your category, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the globe.
- Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify and lead regional/global initiatives to achieve cost and efficiency optimization.
- Negotiate contracts ensuring beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Contribute to the achievement of Nestlé’s global Sustainability Commitments by driving sustainability in packaging.
What will make you successful:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, supplier management and strategic procurement on a global or regional scale. Demonstrated success in risk management and responsible sourcing.
- Previous experience in direct procurement of materials is essential. Experience in the packaging category is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills - with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across a complex, global organization.
- Strong English communication is critical to your success. Mandarin abilities are advantageous.
