Position summary 

 

As Regional Procurement Manager – Temporary Agency Workers, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the regional procurement strategy for external workforce services across Asia, Oceania and Africa. This is a complex and high-impact category, supporting diverse factory and business needs across multiple markets, supplier models and regulatory environments.

 

You will partner closely with Factory Managers, HR, Legal, Finance, technical teams and suppliers to drive value, mitigate risk, strengthen compliance and support responsible workforce practices. Through strong category insight, stakeholder engagement and supplier management, you will help Nestlé build effective, sustainable and compliant external workforce solutions across the region.

A day in a life of a Regional Procurement Manager – Temporary Agency Workers

  • Define and implement category strategies for temporary workforce agency services across Asia, Oceania and Africa.
  • Analyse supplier markets, category risks, workforce demand patterns and total cost of ownership to identify opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with Factory Managers, HR, Legal, Finance and technical teams to understand local workforce needs and align category plans with business priorities.
  • Lead supplier engagement, negotiations, contract management and performance reviews to ensure reliable service, competitive commercial terms and compliance with Nestlé requirements.
  • Support supplier consolidation and optimisation while recognising the specific needs of local markets, remote factory locations and regulatory environments.
  • Drive responsible sourcing practices, with particular focus on labour compliance, ethical workforce standards, forced labour risk and minimum wage requirements.
  • Navigate ambiguity and volatility in workforce demand, supplier availability and market regulation with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.

 

 

What Makes You Successful: 

 

  • Solid procurement experience, ideally within professional services, indirect procurement, external workforce, labour hire or temporary agency categories.
  • Strong strategic procurement foundations, including sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, negotiation and contract management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders across functions such as HR, Legal, Finance, operations, factories and technical teams.
  • Strong project management capability, with the ability to drive initiatives across multiple markets and manage competing priorities.
  • A risk-aware mindset, with strong ethics and understanding of responsible sourcing, labour compliance and supplier governance.
  • High learning agility, adaptability and resilience in dynamic, regulated and sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Proficient in English; additional regional languages would be beneficial.
