As a Strategic Buyer - Packaging at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to support strategic sourcing and commercial activities for packaging categories used by Nestlé worldwide. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with procurement managers, internal stakeholders and suppliers across markets to create value, strengthen responsible sourcing and support business continuity. This is your chance to drive innovation, sustainability, and impact at scale, ensuring value creation through responsibly sourced supply across diverse categories.

How you’ll make an impact as a Strategic Buyer - Packaging

• Supporting category strategies that deliver cost improvements, sustainability progress and reliable supply for packaging materials.
• Driving sourcing activities and supplier engagement that help markets and businesses meet their packaging needs responsibly.
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to move initiatives forward with clarity and pace.
• Delivering procurement insights through data management, forecasting and project support that enable better business decisions.
• Managing selected sourcing and contracting activities to create value for defined markets, businesses or packaging categories.
• Growing your category management expertise while contributing to Nestlé’s packaging sustainability goals and long-term value creation.

• Bringing procurement, supply chain, logistics, business or engineering knowledge that helps you understand commercial priorities and operational needs.
• Applying sourcing, supplier management or direct materials experience to support value creation across packaging categories.
• Using data, digital tools and presentation skills to turn information into clear recommendations and practical actions.
• Collaborating confidently in a complex international environment with stakeholders and suppliers across different levels and cultures.
• Communicating fluently in English and Mandarin Chinese.
