Production Technician
The Production Technician assists the First Line Manager in the Manufacturing Plant to plan and operate main production processes, perform process trouble shooting and conduct training for new operators.
He/She will plan, lead, organise and control the manufacturing operations in Manufacturing plant. Ensuring that subordinates perform duties as per operating instruction to produce quality product safely, he/she supports the trouble-shooting process in cases of deviation.
Job Description
- Lead and train team in Nestle way of working such as Nestle Continuous Excellence, Nestle Code of Business Conduct.
- Manage resources efficiently and assist First Line Manager to prepare shift roster, ensuring smooth operation and shift pattern.
- Lead the team in maintenance and operating all processes and equipment, including management of food safety through Operational Prerequisite Programmes/Critical Control Points such as verification of metal detectors.
- Lead and ensure compliance to Work Instructions and Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
- Participate and lead improvement and productivity projects.
- Participate in Daily Operational Review.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
What will make you successful
- NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical & Food Process Technology or relevant experience.
- Digital Skills.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome.
- Experience in Production Work will be an advantage.
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Fast Learner and high adaptability.
- Able to work Weekly Rotating Shifts.
