Position Summary

To implement the Cycle Plan agenda and coordinate trade marketing activities across the assigned region, ensuring effective execution of merchandising standards and POP controls. The role supports sustainable business growth by driving excellence in in-store execution, asset management, and sales promotion initiatives.


A Day in the Life of...

  • Execute and communicate monthly Cycle Plan activities to the sales team to ensure alignment and timely implementation
  • Drive effective implementation of the merchandising calendar across the region
  • Manage and monitor POP materials (POSM), ensuring proper inventory control, minimal ageing, and optimal utilization
  • Supervise and develop the zonal merchandising team, ensuring discipline, performance tracking, and capability building
  • Ensure adherence to company policies through proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit compliance
  • Provide regular market intelligence, activation reports, and competitor trade insights to support decision-making
  • Plan and execute promotional activities including town storming, roadshows, conferences, and fairs with proper pre/post evaluations
  • Lead training initiatives for merchandising teams and ensure compliance with execution standards
  • Manage trade assets such as chillers, sampling vans, vending machines, gondolas, and display units
  • Ensure accurate financial tracking and closure of imprest accounts and stock transactions related to promotional activities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through NCE methodologies (e.g., OMP, ICE, Mystery Shopper activities)
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Security, WHO Code, and all regulatory requirements

What Will Make You Successful

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing / Sales Promotion / Merchandising
  • Strong understanding of customer dynamics and the selling process
  • Experience in managing field teams and cross-functional coordination
  • Exposure to event execution and promotional campaign management
