Salary: £55,085.94 (inclusive of base salary of £41,418.00 plus shift allowance of £13,667.94)
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off - Annualised hours incorporating 2 days/2 nights on 4 days off rolling - Inclusive of Bank Holidays. Variable start times from 04:00- 07:00 / 16:00-19:00- 12 hours shifts.

We are recruiting for LGV Drivers based at our Logistics partner site at East Midlands Gateway. These are permanent opportunities which will report into the Delivery Operations Manager on site.

Your impact
Ultimately, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Nestle products to our customers across the UK.
You will be expected to complete all paperwork and documentation where required to ensure safety and compliance, including all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure roadworthiness.
Your other key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the integrity of the load and vehicle by applying correct procedures for load restraint, performance and conduct on the road, fuel efficient driving, vehicle defect checks, complying with all traffic legislation, working time and highway code rules.
- Loading and unloading goods (where required).
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Ensuring that all necessary safety regulations are followed.
Your ingredients for success
To be successful in this role you will already have experience working in LGV or HGV roles.
Other key criteria:
- Essential - Full HGV C+E (class1) licence – preferably clean
- Essential - Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards.
- Strong knowledge of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive.
- Excellent geographical knowledge and ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and other navigation tools.
- Ability to effectively navigate common IT systems, applications, and platforms.
- Up to date Driver CPC.
