POSITION SUMMARY
Since 1997, our factory has been a leading producer of the nation's cat litter supply. Located on Tidy Cat Road, our 40-acre plant site is seamlessly connected to a clay mine, enabling efficient mining, processing, packaging, and shipping. We mass produce conventional and clumping cat litter, supplying the mid-Atlantic region with nearly a third of a million tons annually. Our culture of continuous improvement drives Tidy Cats® product innovations, revolutionizing the cat litter category with LightWeight® litter, combining strength with half the weight. We’re also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. As a Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing HR support regarding labor/employee relations, compensation, performance management, policy interpretation, workforce planning, human resources investigations, recruiting, leave management, employment law, training and development and HR administrative processes.
- Support HR Department goals driving excellence in people processes
- Assist with employee and labor relations activities in the factory; investigations, corrective actions, performance management, engagement and people planning, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Oversee recruiting/staffing activities and assist in selecting top talent for open positions
- Assist with performance evaluations, development plans, and succession planning
- Oversee the attendance program, administration of attendance related disciplinary action, and all leave related systems and activity
- Support associate engagement activities and team building plans through recognition, community outreach, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion programs and health and wellness events
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, military, or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000 - $116,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
