Position Summary
Since 1997, our factory has been a leading producer of the nation's cat litter supply. Located on Tidy Cat Road, our 40-acre plant site is seamlessly connected to a clay mine, enabling efficient mining, processing, packaging, and shipping. Operating around the clock, we mass produce conventional and clumping cat litter, supplying the mid-Atlantic region with nearly a third of a million tons annually. Our culture of continuous improvement drives Tidy Cats® product innovations, revolutionizing the cat litter category with LightWeight® litter, combining strength with half the weight. We’re also doing our part to care for the environment we share, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal. As an Electrical Senior Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of all electrical distribution and controls infrastructure throughout the King William Factory. You will manage the Factory Electrical Master Plan and oversee the scoping, development, implementation, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure, and lead and execute capital projects.
- Ensure all new and modified equipment complies with all NPPC electrical Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) design standards
- Collaborate with managers, technicians, engineers, and operators to address existing electrical issues and continuously enhance processes through improvements and new projects
- Lead the development and improvement of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies for all factory electrical and controls equipment to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
- Assist with the design, commissioning, and startup of new electrical equipment and processes to support factory operations
- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of the electrical infrastructure and controls system, including PLCs and SCADA, by troubleshooting and resolving electrical and controls challenges to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
OR
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or related technical field with 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
