POSITION SUMMARY
The Distributor Development Manager is responsible for driving the achievement of F&B and NiM business objectives in the down‑trade channel by effectively managing Nestlé’s appointed Cash & Carry contractors and the Confectionery Distributor. The position also leads the execution and continuous improvement of in‑market strategies, ensures timely resolution of operational issues, and oversees the management and upkeep of the Company Store. .
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and achieving NNS and volume targets, leveraging close monitoring of distributor sell‑out performance.
- Manage the end‑to‑end operations of the Company Depot and ensure efficient, effective Distributor and Cash & Carry operations—including inventory, logistics, and sales force execution.
- Ensure flawless in‑store execution by delivering the Picture of Success, implementing in‑store actions, and achieving 100% placement of all category and subcategory solutions.
- Provide actionable insights on market trends, competitor activity, and shopper behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and distribution expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams (TMM, Supply Chain) and external partners (Distributors, Customers, third parties) to execute customer, channel, and shopper initiatives and develop Joint Business Plans.
- Support trade and distributor audits, drive process improvement initiatives, and deliver timely daily/weekly/monthly reporting on sales, stock levels, distribution, and performance metrics.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in Sales and Marketing, with proven experience in the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated ability to execute territory or channel business plans, including hands‑on experience managing distributors, down‑trade channels, and Cash & Carry operations.
