POSITION SUMMARY

The General Services NesTrainee is responsible for supporting the coordination of different aspects of general services such facility maintenance activities, small projects,etc. They provide direct support to our General Services Manager.                                                                     

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Manage purchase requisitions through the P2P process, support timely renewal of framework orders, and prepare monthly accrual listings for outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders to schedule site visits, execute services, and respond promptly to facilityrelated queries, complaints, and urgent maintenance requests.
  • Support office and facility maintenance activities by maintaining documentation, conducting periodic site walkthroughs, and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules, proactively flag upcoming activities, and communicate requirements to vendors across locations.
  • Support vehicle fleet operations including gas card administration, mileage tracking, service and renewal reminders, asset management, and offsite file storage coordination.
  • Prepare for audits by organizing documentation, updating checklists, collecting evidence, tracking action closures, and ensuring digital and physical files meet audit standards.                   

 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities/Maintenance Management or related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
