As Automation Engineer, you will ensure the proper operation of automation equipment in process lines and utility equipment within an R&D environment, and you will be involved in multiple innovative automation projects working with new technologies.

A Day in the Life of Automation Engineer
 

• Support and trouble shooting in automation for trials and commercial production
• Implementation of improvements in process automation on lines for trials and production
• Project management in investment projects related to automation equipment
• Implementation of change requests in cooperation with the production team
   

What will make you successful
 

• Bachelor or Master in automation engineering (HF or FH) or equivalent education
• Experience in process automation (preferably in food industry)
• Good knowledge in PLC programming (Rockwell preferred)
• Good knowledge in visualization (ideally AVEVA System Platform) 
• High analytical skills for problem solving
• Teamplayer with good communication skills
• Fluent German and English speaking
