Position Summary 

 

As a Product Development Intern within the Product Development Department of NPTC Nutrition, and more specifically in the All Family and Affordable Milks Team, you will support development projects that aim at nutrition solutions, dairy and plant-based products, for school-age children in critical transformation stage at the age of 3 years and above.

A Day in the Life of a Product Development Intern

 

  • Support product development projects under the guidance of Product Development Specialists
  • Work in laboratories and pilot plants to contribute to the innovation and renovation of affordable nutrition brands
  • Collaborate with Nestlé colleagues to define exploration areas and design experimental trial plans
  • Plan, prepare, and execute kitchen, benchtop, prototyping, and/or pilot plant trials
  • Organize raw materials, product analyses, sample releases, sensory evaluations, and shelf‑life tests
  • Contribute to and help organize internal team discussions and regular project updates, bringing new ideas to the table
  • Document, analyze, and present project results to relevant Nestlé stakeholders

 

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Master’s degree student or recent graduate in Dairy, Food Technology, Food Science, or Food Engineering
  • Strong interest in hands‑on product development
  • Proactive, curious, and results‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of innovation
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable networking in an international environment
