As a Product Development Intern at Nestlé, your mission is to support the Powder Creamer Team in developing new solutions that optimize powder properties and manufacturing processes. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with Product Development Specialists, project team members and relevant NPTC stakeholders. How you’ll make an impact as a Product Development Intern

 

  • Support R&D product development projects and design experiments to identify powder creamer solutions with defined functional and sensory properties.
  • Plan, prepare and conduct kitchen, benchtop, prototyping and pilot plant trials, including the preparation of prototypes for validation.
  • Coordinate raw materials, product analytics, sample releases, sensory evaluations and keeping-quality tests.
  • Assess the sustainability impact of developed solutions in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Document, report and present project results while building effective collaboration with project team members and relevant NPTC stakeholders.

What will make you successful

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress or completed in Science and Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering or a related field, with exposure to materials science, chemistry or physics.
  • Strong interest in innovation and a problem-solving mindset, supported by hands-on curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and networking skills, with experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and building relationships based on trust.
  • Fluency in English. German is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning, while translating ideas into measurable impact and creating shared value.
