At Nestlé Research and Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland, we develop for Nestlé worldwide, new products, processes and packaging concepts in the areas of Dairy and Nutrition. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories.

Position Summary

 

We are looking for 2 Product Development Specialists for the LACTOGEN & NIDO categories, to be responsible for the development, innovation and renovation of products, processes and systems from inception through all stages of development in the product category.

A day in the life of a Product Development Specialist

 

  • Ensure that the requirements in safety, quality & regulatory are met, from prototyping to commercial launch
  • Meet financial and consumer expectations as per the innovation framework
  • Execute trials up to industrialization (technical trials)
  • Ensure qualification & development of new raw materials
  • Validate consumer centricity & product superiority trough 60/40+
  • Develop technical expertise for core milk powder and liquid technologies
What will make you successful

 

  • 2-5 years of product development experience in the infant nutrition or related categories; factory experience is desired
  • Master degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Quality or equivalent
  • Experience in product industrialization and accompanying product launches
  • Open minded; curious with wide interests
  • Savvy in expertise & processes, fully autonomous
  • Flexible and energized by possibilities change
  • Results-oriented and agile with a high level of perseverance
  • Previous powder and liquid technology experience would be a plus
  • Fluent in English; German would be a plus
