Position Summary  

 

As a Quality Specialist, you will ensure Quality and Food Safety by Design in our powdered milk-based beverage projects. Your role will involve providing scientific and technical guidance, maintaining knowledge of quality requirements and technologies, and supporting factories with expertise in the area. You will also contribute to the development of guidelines and standards.

 

A Day in the Life of a Quality Specialist

 

  • Provide early-stage support to projects, ensuring Quality and Food Safety by Design and timely delivery of information/documents.
  • Effectively communicate results and methods to relevant parties.
  • Build and document knowledge on the latest Quality and Food Safety topics in powdered milk-based beverages.
  • Act as the subject matter owner for various categories, such as chemical contaminants and allergens.
  • Support operations with effective and sustainable solutions, including assistance in new product industrialization and line commissioning.
  • Update Standards and Guidelines based on business priorities, involving key stakeholders and transferring new information to factories.
  • Promote quality awareness and contribute to the competence development of quality professionals.
  • Proactively lead Continuous Improvement programs, including root cause analysis and knowledge dissemination.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • University Degree in Food Science and Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality, Food Safety, and Hygiene experience in powdered milk-based beverages.
  • Strong knowledge of quality requirements and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in R&D and/or operations/factory settings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
