Position Summary

As a Sensory & Product Experience Specialist, you will generate and translate consumer product insights into desirable products and packaging experiences, aligned with business strategies. You will integrate consumer research data with sensory insights to drive the development of innovative, consumer-centric products, guiding the product & packaging development process from initial ideation through to successful launch.

A Day in the Life of a Sensory & Product Experience Specialist
- Partner with project managers and product developers to establish consumer research plans to add value to projects.
- Participate actively in cross-functional project teams, providing valuable insights and expert guidance on consumer research methodologies.
- Manage and execute consumer research studies with excellence, from design and planning to analysis, reporting and presenting.
- Leverage sensory data and connect to consumer data to identify drivers of liking and consumer preference.
- Foster effective collaboration and communication within the Sensory & Product Experience team and external agencies to ensure efficient execution.
- Enhance consumer research methods, contribute to internal trainings programs, and drive the bridging of sensory and consumer research.
What will make you successful
- Master's degree or equivalent in Sensory Science, Consumer Science, Marketing Research, or related fields.
- Proven experience in consumer research and insights, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong statistical knowledge and expertise in sensory and consumer product testing techniques.
- Supervisory experience in leading sensory laboratory activities or working with sensory agencies.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for product tasting and ready to participate in tasting sessions of dairy-based products.
- Curiosity and passion for understanding consumer behavior, especially in relation with children.
- Familiarity with marketing research and computer literacy in MS-Office and statistical tools.
- Experience in R&D and the dairy or nutrition field is a plus.
