As a Site Quality Assurance Manager at Nestlé Research and Development Center Konolfingen, your mission is to safeguard food safety, quality and compliance across a dynamic research and pilot environment while keeping the site audit ready. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, laboratory operations, pilot plant teams, businesses based in Konolfingen, and external authorities and certification bodies. How you’ll make an impact as a Site Quality Assurance Manager
- Leading the site quality strategy to keep the research and pilot environment audit ready and fully aligned with quality and food safety standards.
- Driving risk-based decisions and robust controls that enable safe, compliant and efficient pilot plant execution.
- Building high-performing quality and laboratory teams that strengthen a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- Developing and empowering team members by fostering individual growth through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans - building a diverse talent pipeline and ensuring strong succession readiness within the quality and laboratory teams.
- Delivering reliable analytical and laboratory services that support research trials, market needs and fast decision-making.
- Leading the digital transformation of laboratory operations and data management
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve findings quickly, simplify processes and raise quality performance at scale.
What will make you successful
- Bringing strong expertise in quality assurance along with the capability to lead a group, as a Group leader in a factory (Deputy QA, Quality Systems, Hygienist) or as QA specialist in an R&D Centre or global quality function
- Applying leadership and coaching skills to develop teams, guide change and build a strong quality culture across functions.
- Inspiring and growing a team by creating an inclusive environment where people feel empowered to take ownership, learn from experience, and develop their careers - demonstrating a genuine commitment to people development as a key driver of quality performance
