Position: Executive – Factory Finance

Position Snapshot:

• Area: Finance & Control

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Factory Controller,  the candidate is required to ensure a robust and compliant Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) process while driving accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in Accounting Operations across the factory.

A day in the life of the role:

• Drive a compliant and efficient Fixed Asset Management processes across the factory.
• Play a key role in the CAPEX initiation process to ensure sound financial evaluation.
• Monitor the utilization of the approved CAPEX budget and provide insights to the Factory Leadership Team during annual CAPEX planning.
• Manage the complete Fixed Asset Registry in compliance with Nestlé Accounting Standards.
• Compute and submit Factory Total Depreciation for dynamic forecasting.
• Act as Controller for maintenance and improvement budgets, ensuring end‑to‑end oversight of cost management.
• Act as Controller for Technical Stores, ensuring strong controls over inventory management.
• Drive General Ledger governance with accurate cost booking, timely provisions, and smooth period‑end closing.
• Ensure all Factory Balance Sheet Accounts are accurately reconciled and maintained to uphold financial integrity.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across teams to drive cost‑saving projects and enhance efficiency.

What will make you successful?

• Education: Degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field withrelevant professional qualification in CIMA/ ACCA/ CFA/ CA
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in internal control or auditing within the FMCG industry
• Language skills: Fluency in English and Sinhala
• Other skills: Possess good organizational and planning skills, ability to lead with strong interpersonal skills and work with different teams
