Nestle Ukraine, worldwide leader in Food and Beverage industry, successfully working and developing in Ukraine, is announcing an opening of a Channel Manager (Grocery) position in the Purina Department in Kyiv.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement local channel plans, articulating the vision for optimal brand representation (Point of Purchase Vision) through effective Category assortment, Planogram placement, and Merchandising strategies.
  • Create and recommend a promotional activity plan for the Grocery channel, aligned with the category growth strategy.
  • Formulate the vision and strategy for the Grocery channel, informed by the needs of consumers, buyers, and customers, including sub-channels such as National Key Accounts (NKA), Regional Key Accounts (RCD, Tier 5), and traditional trade (TT).
  • Conduct strategic analysis of channels and sub-channels to generate insights into buyer behavior and category dynamics.
  • Monitor competitor activities and category changes within the channel to provide actionable recommendations to sales and marketing teams based on thorough analysis.
  • Engage in the business planning process, supplying commercial insights for brand planning at the sub-channel level of Grocery, adhering to established timelines and creating channel plans.
  • Prioritize promotional activities and execute regular pre- and post-assessments of trade activities throughout the monthly sales business planning cycle.
  • Review baseline sales for clients and sub-channels within Grocery, providing analytics and expertise as an approving authority.
  • Oversee the distribution levels of Purina products, offering actionable suggestions to enhance distribution within the Grocery channel.
  • Ensure the availability of essential materials related to buyer needs and insights into the pet food category within the Grocery channel, along with sales support tools in the "Playbook," ensuring alignment between category development plans and client and brand strategies.

 

Main requirements:

  • At least 3 years of commercial experience.
  • Experience in developing category growth strategies and their implementation.
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial business environment, finance, and marketing.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Analytical abilities and strategic planning skills.
  • Understanding of buyer behavior.
  • Ability to motivate and develop people.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
