Position Summary
Leads the Category Marketing community across a cluster of markets, to ensure relevant marketing strategy development delivering towards to Category strategic choices and reactivating local brands potential. Valued member of the Category Marketing Leadership team representing local needs across the Region, working to optimise Y Shape decision making. Responsible for Local Strategic Brand strategy, ensuring effective marketing at scale. Advocate for long-term brand health and supporting Category Marketing Director in aligning the marketing operation across ZEUR.
A day in the life
- Inspire and empower the category marketing team across the region to reach new heights of marketing excellence through visionary leadership, fostering a culture of continuous growth, and igniting a sense of unity within the community.
- Champion marketing as the value creator across Region, supporting the BEO to consider consumers and brands in all decisions.
- Ensure the delivery of the Category Strategy (Portfolio + Brand) across the Region to deliver exceptional regenerative performance across priority segments.
- Ensure brands make a positive impact on people and nature by moving to a circular, regenerative and inclusive food system whilst leveraging our storytelling to educate citizens to consume responsibly in an authentic and relevant way.
- Optimize and deliver Regional brand campaigns, engaging audiences through integrated experiences and maximizing media investment. Responsible for designing and implementing local strategic brand campaigns that balance long-term brand building with short-term sales activation.
- Continually strive to optimise the consumer journey in market through the implementation of the Consumer Experience Strategy
- Responsible for local implementation of innovation and renovation pipeline that creates competitive advantage through multisensory products and services that empower healthier, happier and more sustainable lives.
- Empower local teams to deliver design excellence and fully connected packaging that creates an immersive and rewarding experience for our consumers, ensuring our brands are 1st choice, whilst protecting the precious resources of our planet.
- Leverage Strategic Revenue Management to optimise pricing strategy locally across the portfolio to deliver growth and profit improvement.
- Ensure teams leverage data in market to bring fresh insights that can be used to unlock competitive advantage through a 360 degree view of the consumer, or by leveraging analytics to optimise our performance (i.e. 360 degree view of consumer, Redmill, Adverity etc).
- Point of contact for Strategic Agency Partners locally, removing barriers and exploring collaboration opportunities that unlock mutual growth
What will make you successful?
- University degree in Marketing/Economics
- Minimum 10 years experience in Brand/Product/Marketing Management
- Experience in people management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (fluent English)
- Experienced in stakeholder management.
- Ease and confident working with cross functional and cross-cultural teams
- Effectively handles pressures and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities.
- Courage to take a responsible risk, making the right choices and decision fast.
- Capabilities to drive changes by communicating a compelling and inspired vision.
