Reporting to the CPW Global Analytics Leader, you will lead CPW's advanced analytics capability with the support of our Analytics team in Mumbai, India. You will combine deep analytical expertise with strong commercial understanding to help drive growth across our global brands and markets.  Working closely with CMI, Commercial, Category, Marketing and Innovation teams, you will translate complex business challenges into predictive analytics, forecasting solutions, optimisation tools and AI-enabled capabilities that strengthen decision-making across the organisation. You will play a key role in shaping CPW's future analytics agenda, supporting CPW's future growth, ensuring the right data and analytics create measurable value and support our long-term growth ambitions.


How you’ll make an impact as Analytics and Data Science Manager

  • Lead advanced analytics that support all levels of the business with commercial, category, innovation and strategic business decisions, including predictive forecasting, scenario planning, identifying growth opportunities and Revenue Growth Management initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Applied Analytics professionals, partnering with the dedicated Analytics team in Mumbai through a dotted-line model to align priorities and resources, maintain delivery momentum, and foster innovation, capability building and measurable business impact.
  • Coach and develop the team's analytical and commercial skill set, helping colleagues elevate their thinking, strengthen stakeholder engagement and connect technical outputs to real-world business needs.
  • Translate complex commercial questions into clear analytical briefs, robust methodologies and practical solutions that improve growth, profitability and decision making.
  • Design and develop CPW's future analytics capabilities to unlock growth, ensuring advanced analytics, AI and machine learning are focused on the biggest opportunities to support CPW's growth ambitions.

 
What will make you successful

  • Background in data or analytics, with extensive experience applying insights in a commercial, category management or other business-facing role.
  • Strong FMCG or retail understanding, including experience supporting commercial and category decision-making through analytics. Knowledge of SRM/RGM, pricing, promotion and assortment principles would be advantageous.
  • Ability to lead through influence, prioritise workload and coordinate a distributed team, combined with strong coaching and development skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple analytics projects and delivering practical outputs such as Excel dashboards, Power BI reports and decision-support materials.
  • Technical knowledge to guide analytical work and evaluate outputs, including experience with cloud-based data architecture and analytics solutions and AI-driven approaches, paired with confidence supporting senior presentations, innovation topics and strategic growth discussions.
