Position Summary

 

As a Brand Manager, you are responsible for sustainably growing the Nestlé Brands based on superior Innovation and Research and the implementation and execution of an effective communication strategy.  You will develop a deeper understanding of our brands, the target consumers as well as the market in Switzerland.

A day in the life of...

 

•    Identify and analyze the competitive environment, consumers and shoppers and develop relevant insights to create the ability to win with convincing leader strategies.
•    Develop and execute a successful activation plan, ensuring consistency from Home to PoS embracing/boosting new contact points based on contact analysis and new trends (focus on digitalization).    
•    Act as brand guardian across categories and touch points.
•    Formalize and sell the brand plan as a summary of vision highlighting key yearly priorities and communication plans.
•    Understand and manage base line of the assigned categories to ensure achievement of rotation targets and existing portfolio.                
•    Manage efficient, effective, flawless Innovation & Renovation projects and orchestrate a cross functional and multidisciplinary team to achieve the project defined Key Success Criteria and deliver against the business case.     
•    Manage the P&L of the assigned categories independently by developing a full understanding of the value chain and improving business results through proactive management of the core drivers        

What will make you successful

 

•    At least 4 years Generating Demand experience
•    Minimum 2 years experience in marketing and 2 years in other functions ideally in Sales at Nestlé or equivalent FMCG
•    Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams
•    Master degree in business from a university or equivalent
•    Fluent in (Swiss) German and English, French is a plus
