As a Category Development Manager, you will adopt, enrich and implement the central Nestlé Purina Europe (NPPE) category strategy in the local Swiss market. You will put into practice the local channel strategy with a clear focus on the Specialist channel (Pet Superstores) as well as the E-commerce channel. You will also be working closely with the local Sales and Marketing teams to deliver superior category growth, a comprehensive channel and distribution strategy, and solid execution of our portfolio and promotional strategy at the POS.

- Driving sustainable category growth by adapting and enriching the European Purina category strategy for the Swiss market.
- Building customer category strategies that unlock growth through insights, data and strong customer collaboration.
- Leading promotional planning and performance evaluation to improve commercial impact across key channels.
- Shaping assortment, distribution and shelf recommendations that respond to shopper needs and market opportunities.
- Delivering effective shopper activation and digital shelf initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Coaching and partnering with the eContent Specialist to deliver the eContent roadmap and optimize customer content.

- Bringing strong category management, trade marketing, sales or marketing knowledge to translate strategy into business growth.
- Applying analytical thinking to turn shopper, customer and market data into clear recommendations.
- Using strategic thinking and commercial curiosity to identify opportunities across specialist retail and e-commerce.
- Experience in e-commerce/digital is a plus.
- Collaborating confidently with customers and cross-functional teams to build trusted relationships and deliver shared results.
- Communicating fluently in English; German and French are an advantage.
- Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
