As a Global Operations and R&D Controller you will oversee and manage the global operational finance process. This role involves contributing to strategic plans and reviews, developing factory controllers, and being accountable for all Operations and R&D financial activities. You will also be responsible for preparing and coordinating the Long Term Plan, Annual Operations Plan, and monthly outlook, as well as identifying gap closing opportunities. This position plays a crucial role in the planning, organization, control, and completion of all financial activities related to Operations and R&D. This position will give you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's financial operations and performance globally.

A Day in the Life of a Global Ops and R&D Controller
- Strategically define Factory and Operation KPIs and proactively identify actions to close gaps, leading the monthly review meetings with region and global teams.
- Identify strategic opportunities through the future of operations and benchmarking to identify gaps and trigger cost improvement opportunities
- Play a crucial role in developing factory finance personnel through performance review and coaching.
- Assess waste elimination opportunities and report on expenditure
- Prepare and coordinate Operations and R&D budgets with management, while performing revisions or simulations if needed
- Evaluate capital investment plans and identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Lead ACE and DF Process, reviewing and challenging targets and assumptions.
- Drive cost optimization and competitiveness in both variable and fixed costs.
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong prior experience in an Operations finance area, such as factories or supply chain, while any experience as a Business/Function Controller in a market would be a plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, R&D, and MOGE processes and costing methodologies.
- Strategic thinking and decision making skills, combined with ability to influence without authority
- Strong organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and cultures.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
