As a Junior Category Commercial Development Manager, you will work in a cross-functional team to define and execute the commercial strategy for our Nescafé, Incarom and Starbucks brands. Externally you will be responsible for promotional planning, and you will be developing selling stories and customer specific analysis to grow the Coffee Category. Internally, you are the reporting and analysis expert of the Business. You also represent the voice of the customer and Key Account Management to our Brand Marketing Team.
A Day in the Life of a Junior Category Commercial Development Manager
- Develop and execute compelling category growth narrative for Retail Partners for years to come, including management of activity planning and review, development, execution and analysis of customer specific promotions.
- Act as the reference for the field to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deploy the selling stories for new product innovations and other commercial initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze customer KPIs (like sell-out, stock situation) and translate them into concrete action plans.
- Be the market data expert (Nielsen) and own the competitive monitoring.
What will make you successful
- University degree or equivalent.
- First experience in Marketing or Sales.
- Ability to act as a team player and being a connector.
- Strongly analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Good presentation and storytelling skills – internally & externally.
- Knowledge of the Swiss retail landscape and Coffee would be a plus.
- Good knowledge in (Swiss) German and English, French is a plus.
