As a “Key Account Manager”, you will develop Key Accounts for Nestlé Professional’s food & coffee businesses according to the defined portfolio to achieve sales objectives. Furthermore, you will lead the development and ensure implementation of the annual customer plans that are aligned with overall business and customer strategies.

 

You will be home-office based while working for the globally leading food and beverage company. A Day in the Life of a Key Account Manager

 

  • Regular customer visits to ensure development of partnership and execute joint business plan.
  • Define and execute strategies and plans for the customers in line with business requirements.
  • Ensure complete support in development of category channel and customer business plans. 
  • Hunt for new customers and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with peer customer managers to share customer best practices, liaise with marketing, trade, field sales and supply chain to drive customer related initiatives.
  • Implement, follow up and update customer’s plans.
  • Ensure achievement of agreed portfolio targets/KPIs.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management in a similar role and a track record of successfully delivering on KPIs, especially top and bottom-line business results. 
  • Ideally experience in the out of home food or coffee sector.
  • Proven track record of hunting new customers.
  • Understanding key corporate functions and their different perspectives i.e. Marketing, Production, Field Sales Force.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Creative ideas for growing existing customers in a highly competitive market environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to work with Excel.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with internal peers.
  • Good communication skills and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in (Swiss-)German and English. Good knowledge in French is an advantage.
