Position summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Counsel for Global Procurement to join our dynamic team in Switzerland. In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of the Nestrade Legal Procurement Team, providing comprehensive legal support to our technical and logistics categories.

A day in a life of a Legal Counsel for Global Procurement
- Support the Global Procurement Legal Team, focusing on Technical & Logistics categories
- Provide legal advice and negotiate contracts for services and indirect materials, collaborating with relevant clients and team lawyers
- Address legal needs of the Swiss Global Procurement Hub and corporate Nestrade matters
- Support dispute prevention and management to ensure business continuity and recover losses
- Raise awareness of legal matters among internal clients through training and early involvement
- Assist in developing best-in-class agreements and efficient processes for above-market transactions
- Manage projects with cross-functional stakeholders across various time zones while protecting Nestlé's interests
- Utilize excellent interpersonal skills and experience in making presentations and trainings
- Protect the best interests of Nestlé, always aligned with the fundamental Corporate and Procurement policies and any other applicable internal policy/guideline
What makes you successful:
- Professionally qualified lawyer with several years of PQE.
- Experience dealing with people from different disciplines and cultures
- Previous in-house legal experience and experience with cloud services and on-premises software are considered a plus
- Ability to recognize patterns and optimize templates and processes
- Capability to apply the law for business advantage
- High-level prioritization skills coupled with the ability to quickly identify key issues and address them
- Ability to quickly identify key issues and address them, particularly in the context of intense negotiations
- Double degree or experience in Swiss & Common Law is a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
