Position Summary

As Medical Delegate, you will represent Nestlé Health Science and their brands in the defined territory, in the pharmacies and drugs stores. You will be in charge of building and developing a long-term business oriented and trusting relationship with our customers and be responsible for achieving sales objectives as well as prospecting new customer opportunities.

A day in the life of...

 

  • Effective engagement and relationship building skills with key stakeholders in a business-to-business healthcare and pharmacy environment to foster long term relations
  • Achieve sales and activity targets as set by the company
  • Partner with customers to recommend Nestlé Health Science products and services utilizing product knowledge and effective selling skills
  • Implement agreed sales strategies across the customer base and monitor their effectiveness
  • Train the pharmacy team on products
  • Uncover and develop new customer prospects and acquisition opportunities
  • Participate and represent NHS in industry conventions, seminars and/or other educational events
  • Effective time management, business planning and administrative skills discipline
  • Analyze and monitor data & work closely with the other Nestlé Health Science sales teams to identify business opportunities
  •  Be considered as the expert of your territory and the nutrition category 
What will make you successful
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, biology, nutrition or related field
  • Existing sales experience in in business-to-business healthcare and pharmacy/drug store environment , ideally in medical nutrition or vitamin/mineral/supplement (a plus)
  • Strong interest to learn about scientific and commercial aspects of products and to effectively communicate to pharmacies
  • Strong drive to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Function independently with a high degree of initiative, self-organization, flexibility and reliability
  • Mother tongue (Swiss-) German or French (depending on your region) with good knowledge of English
  • Must be living in the territory
  • Driver License
