Position Summary

 

As Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for the translation and deployment of nutrition science and knowledge to guide product innovation and renovation as well as consumer relevant communication. In this role, you will apply findings of research, dietary guidelines, relevant population trends, nutritional needs and wants into innovations of nutrition products & digital initiatives. You will also transfer knowledge among peers and business stakeholders while enabling Nestlé’s Purpose

A Day in the Life of a Nutritionist

 

  • Provide nutritional support to business partners and product developers to ensure continuous nutritional improvement of our portfolio; assess products nutritionally and make clear recommendations for recipe renovation. 
  • Identify nutrition gaps & opportunities for portfolio evolution & growth by staying up to date with nutrition science and consumption trends.
  • Guide products nutrition & health messaging and claims on the label and beyond. 
  • Develop nutritional communication for employees; organize nutritional training and events.
  • Translate science into consumer communication and develop relevant easy-to-understand nutrition communication messages to help consumers make healthy nutritional choices.

What will make you successful

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition/Dietetics, Life science, Food science and technology with nutrition specialization, ideally from HES Geneva/HES Bern or equivalent 
  • 1-3 years of work experience in academia, industry and/or public health nutrition organizations (including internships)
  • Fluent in German is a must, good writing and presentation skills in English and good understanding of French
  • Passion for food and nutrition 
  • Strong organization & project management skills 
  • Excellent communication, team spirit & positive mindset
