Location: La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland

Act. Rate: Full-Time 
Type of contract: Permanent contract 
Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or Commercial
At least 2 years professional Experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning
Knowledge of Planning tools and principles
Fluent in French/English
German is a plus

Position Summary

 

As Demand and Supply Planner, you will ensure the right product at the right time, at the right place and in good conditions in order to secure the best sales possible for our customers while minimizing cost and waste for the company. 

A Day in the Life of a Demand and Supply Planner

 

  • Capture and analyze marketing or other events impacting demand. Capture and coordinate information regarding product launches, commercial decisions, promotions, portfolio changes, etc. from all involved departments.
  • Monitor performance indicators (e.g. demand forecasts accuracy and bias) in the market to identify areas of possible improvement and take corrective measures.
  • Provide and validate the IML planning data (demand plan, actual figures, variances analysis) to be sent to the HQ supply planners, to drive the weekly planning process.
  • Control weekly dispatches from HQ (ETA accuracy, Complaint registration) and ensure accurate communication of unloadings to local 3PL.
  • Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of operational procedures in Supply Chain related areas

What will make you successful

 

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or Commercial
  • At least 2 years professional Experience in Supply Chain 
  • Knowledge of Planning 
  • Good Communication skills
  • Customer Oriented and analytical skills
  • Fluent in French and English 
  • German is a plus
