Costing Specialist (Finance & Control)
Location: Head Office – Nestlé Pakistan Ltd.
Job Type: Full Time, On-site
Main Purpose of Job
Ensure accurate product and distribution costing in line with Costing Standards for Manufacturing (CSM) and Costing Standards for Distribution (CSD). Provide transparent cost analysis, compliance, and reporting to support business decision-making and drive cost optimization across the value chain.
A day in the life....
- Ensure accurate, compliant cost allocation in line with CSM & CSD guidelines.
- Review and consolidate costing data (GL-CC) for Monthly, Quarterly, and Full-Year Dynamic Forecast (DF) submissions.
- Validate manufacturing and distribution costs, ensuring transparency and accuracy in DF and actual reporting.
- Support business units with costing simulations, product costing, and estimates.
- Coordinate cost inputs for budgeting and planning cycles (ACE, MBS, Revision, Replacement Cost).
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through trend analysis and identification of inefficiencies.
- Prepare and share costing analytics, KPIs, and insights with stakeholders.
- Ensure timely completion of PEC & DF activities and adherence to Group Accounting & Audit standards.
- Support knowledge transfer by sharing costing best practices with teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain full compliance with WHO and local code guidelines.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?
- Formal financial qualification: CA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA/Finance degree.
- 1–3 years of costing, accounting, or finance experience (preferably FMCG).
- Strong understanding of product cost structures and manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of CSM, CSD, and factory cost elements.
- SAP knowledge (costing and master data modules).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of internal controls and accounting standards
