Position Summary 
Develop the unit’s S&E operational master plan/strategy and drive its implementation through application of the Nestlé S&E Management System (NSMS) and Nestlé Environmental Management System (NEMS). Provide leadership across all parts of the unit to enable staff to realize their S&E goals and create pride in their achievements.

A day in the life of... 
Create a compelling understanding of the Nestlé S&E values and inspire stakeholders to excel in compliance & continuously improve, leveraging Nestlé Continuous Excellence Foundations and Advanced Practices.
Develop a holistic strategy and implementation plan, aligned with Market priorities & objectives. Guide communication and implementation of the strategy.
Develop and continuously improve unit S&E programs to deliver on goals, ensure compliance and performance improvement.
Ensure local S&E management system is certified to OHSAS 45001 and ISO 14001 (regional agri services centers)
Ensure training and coaching is provided to managers and team leaders to help them take ownership, and lead & manage S&E within their area of responsibility.
Act as support function to ensure that business managers receive trusted guidance & support on relevant S&E matters from business continuity perspective. 
Work in close coordination with business managers, engineering, fresh milk transport and quality assurance functions to develop and implement safe operations and practices across the unit’s operations. 
Ability to formulate programs to mitigate leading and lagging indicators derived from the risk portfolio.
Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvement.
Compliance with the internal and external S&E reporting requirements (SHE-PM, incidents notifications and reporting, weekly and monthly operational reviews etc)
Participate in external forums to benchmark with other companies and share Nestlé practices.
Identify expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestlé and communicate/implement them internally (both within the unit and beyond).
