Position Overview:

 

We are hiring a Quality Applications and Regulatory Manager to join our team in Fiji.

 

As the on-site Nestle representative, you will ensure compliance with manufacturing agreements, specifications, and Nestlé Corporate Business Principles. Your role will involve maintaining quality standards, regulatory compliance, and providing technical support to various commercial activities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in the Nestle Fiji Leadership Team
  • Monitor compliance with manufacturing agreements, specifications, and Nestlé Corporate Business Principles.
  • Monitor product and packaging manufactured and sold Nestle Fiji’s markets to ensure that it meets Nestlé standards.
  • Conduct quality audits and assisting Contract Manufacturers to meet requirements.
  • Conduct quality audits at co-packers, re-packers, warehouses, and sampling houses and assisting to meet requirements.
  • Act as a market liaison for Quality matters for Nestlé branded products sold in Fiji and other markets under Nestlé Fiji's control.
  • Oversee market sensory evaluations.
  • Responsible to be informed on any Fiji Food Safety Regulations or Import Legislation changes.
  • Represent Nestlé and partners' interests in regulatory changes and inquiries.
  • Manage cross-functional teams for new product development and improvement projects.
  • Lead food safety with local partners through HACCP and NESCHANGE processes.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
