How you’ll make an impact as
an Associate Specialist Lipids

  • Building scientific knowledge of emerging methods, trends, and discoveries in lipid science and technology.
  • Developing robust scientific concepts that translate lipid research into food applications and consumer benefits.
  • Leading research projects and communicating scientific approaches and results to technical and business audiences.
  • Designing and executing laboratory studies that advance understanding of lipid crystallisation, structuring, and oxidation.
  • Transferring scientific knowledge to development teams to accelerate innovation projects and successful product launches.
  • Strengthening scientific visibility through intellectual property, publications, conference presentations, and coaching of students and technicians.

What will make you successful

  • Holding a PhD in Food Science/Chemistry, Food Engineering, or a related area, with strong knowledge of lipid science, including lipid crystallisation, structuring, and oxidation.
  • Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving to turn science and technology into consumer and business value.
  • Using project management, organisation, and communication skills to deliver clear scientific outcomes.
  • Collaborating proactively across disciplines while showing initiative, integrity, and a passion for knowledge sharing.
  • Communicating fluently in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset, to create shared value.
