As an Associate R&D Specialist in Lipids & Metabolic Analytics department at Nestlé Research, your mission is to provide scientific expertise in advanced lipid analytics to help developing, validating and transferring fit-for-purpose analytical methodologies to support product innovation. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with scientists, experts, innovation partners and technical teams across Nestlé. How you’ll make an impact as an associate R&D specialist in Lipids Analytics
- Leading project activities with independence, accuracy, and scientific rigor to meet defined objectives and timelines.
- Organizing laboratories activities and carrying out experiments involving internal or external partners.
- Driving the implementation of analytical methods and technical solutions that improve lipid analysis capabilities in our Nestlé Operation sites across the world.
- Strengthening the scientific evidence on lipids to support breakthrough innovation.
- Contributing to technological scouting and drive continuous improvement.
What will make you successful
- Bringing a PhD with recognized expertise in lipid analysis using advanced-analytics based on mass spectrometry techniques (HRMS and MS/MS) with 1-3 years of expertise in the domain.
- Leveraging operational and business needs and research thinking to develop, validate and transfer fit-for-purpose analytical methods to support product innovation.
- Collaborating with a quality-focused, proactive and curiosity, agility and creativity across research and technology.
- Communicating fluently in English.
- Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset.
