As a Chef de Partie / Cook at Nestlé Research, your mission is to deliver high-quality food preparation and service within your assigned kitchen section, ensuring consistency, efficiency, hygiene, and excellent standards every day. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with the Sous Chef, Head Chef, kitchen team, apprentices, and the wider Food and Beverage community. How you’ll make an impact as a Chef de Partie / Cook

  • Delivering consistent, high-quality dishes that meet recipe standards, presentation expectations, and portioning guidelines.
  • Ensuring smooth service execution by preparing your station efficiently and staying ready throughout service periods.
  • Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards through disciplined, clean, and organized daily practices.
  • Optimizing ingredients, stock planning, and ordering to reduce waste, respect budgets, and support operational needs.
  • Contributing ideas for menu development and kitchen improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Supporting colleagues, apprentices, events, and cross-team activities with reliability, professionalism, and a strong team mindset.

 

What will make you successful

  • Bringing at least 6 years of professional kitchen experience in fine dining or luxury environments, with exposure to high-volume operations and banqueting.
  • Applying solid food safety, hygiene, and workstation organization practices in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Using time management, cost awareness, stock anticipation, and waste reduction practices to support efficient operations.
  • Collaborating with a positive, hands-on, and reliable approach while supporting knowledge sharing with junior team members.
  • Communicating fluently in French; good command of English.
  • Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset.
