Position Summary

 

As Corporate Communications, Issues and Crisis Manager, you will enhance and protect the company’s reputation by building corporate messaging, devising and implementing effective PR campaigns and providing advice and direction on preventing and managing issues and crises to top management and markets.

A day in a life of a Corporate Communications, Issues and Crisis Manager

 

  • Develop communications campaigns, assets, messaging and QAs to support corporate positioning and enhance reputation
  • Protect and enhance Nespresso’s reputation by delivering effective media relations and acting as a company spokesperson
  • Ensure corporate preparedness for issues and crises, building internal capacities and external stakeholder relationships
  • Advise management on potential and current issues and recommended action plans
  • Manage issues and crises, devising robust communication strategies and developing adhoc position statements and QAs
  • Manage external communication agencies
  • Act as key contact point to the markets, advising them on corporate topics, informing and aligning them on messaging and campaigns
What will make you successful

 

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Ideally 7 years of sound cross-functional business knowledge coupled with international experience
  • Corporate communications and public affairs experience, ideally in EU affairs
  • Experience in negotiation, conflict resolution and crisis situations
  • Strong forward thinking with track record of successful management of communications and public affairs plan
  • Sound know-how in public relations in the international media landscape
  • Ability to network, influence, motivate and energize
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written), French and other languages are an asset
