As an Early-Life Nutrition & Growth Data Science Intern at Nestlé Research, your mission is to uncover how early-life nutrition influences children’s growth and long-term cardiometabolic health. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with scientists and research teams across the R&D organization. How you’ll make an impact as an Early-Life Nutrition Data Science Intern

 

  • Analyzing data from internal datasets and external cohorts to generate evidence on how dietary nutrients shape healthy growth and development.
  • Reviewing scientific literature to identify the most relevant findings and strengthen the evidence base for the project.
  • Presenting clear, insight-led recommendations to research groups and department teams to support informed decision-making.
  • Delivering a well-structured report that translates complex scientific analysis into actionable project findings.
  • Generating practical recommendations that help turn research outcomes into meaningful business and health impact.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Currently pursuing or freshly graduated from a degree in data science, biostatistics, human nutritional physiology, and biochemistry to explore complex questions in early-life nutrition.
  • Having good knowledge in data analysis, modelling, R and Python languages, and meta-analysis tools to turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Being curious about infant and child health and nutrition, with the ability to connect scientific evidence to real-world outcomes.
  • Using English fluently in both spoken and written communication.
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
