As a Food Enzyme Technology Intern at Nestlé, your mission is to explore how enzymes can modify and break down food ingredients - turning lab insights into practical learnings for future products. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with scientists and the wider research team. How you’ll make an impact as a Food Enzyme Technology Intern

 

  • Planning and running laboratory experiments to study enzymatic modification and degradation of food ingredients.
  • Performing carbohydrate and protein analyses using validated analytical protocols with state‑of‑the‑art high‑performance liquid chromatography systems and chromogenic assays to generate high‑quality data.
  • Consolidating, documenting, and presenting results to support project teams in making evidence‑based research decisions.
  • Supporting scientists in the preparation of scientific data for internal communications, publications, and technical reports.
  • Developing bench‑scale prototypes to demonstrate scientific hypotheses and concretize key findings.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Student or fresh graduate in enzyme application, food technology, food science, or analytical chemistry.
  • Being curious and hands-on, with a pragmatic, well-organized approach to planning and executing experiments.
  • Communicating clearly and working collaboratively, while staying motivated and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
  • Using English fluently.
  • Being ready to collaborate, connect, develop, deliver, win and make an impact.
